The Role
As Warehouse Site Manager, based in Nuneaton, you will oversee all aspects of a large site operation, ensuring products & goods move safely, efficiently, and on time while delivering excellent service to customers across the UK based in Nuneaton.
You will lead, motivate, and develop operational teams, ensuring productivity, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Site Manager based in Nuneaton:
- Lead the overall depot operation across day and night shifts.
- Manage warehouse, transport, and operational teams to achieve KPIs.
- Deliver high levels of service, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor performance against cost, quality, and customer service targets.
- Drive a strong culture of health and safety and ensure full compliance with company policies and legislation.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, and employee development.
- Analyse operational data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and transport partners.
- Ensure effective resource planning during peak trading periods.
- Take ownership of operational budgets and cost control.
About you
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
You will have:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Operations Manager, Depot Manager, or Distribution Manager within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
- Strong leadership experience managing large operational teams.
- A proven track record of delivering operational KPIs.
- Excellent people management and coaching skills.
- Experience managing change and driving continuous improvement.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing operational costs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The flexibility to support operational requirements, including shift-based operations where required.
