Transport Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of drivers and transport staff.
• Plan and monitor routes, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with transport legislation and driver regulations.
• Analyse transport performance and implement improvements.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
• Manage budgets, reporting, and operational documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Transport Planner or Manager, ideally within a distribution or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of transport legislation and fleet management systems.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
